Anne Rice's new career

This sounds somewhat interesting.

What do you mean, "somewhat"?? This is fascinating. This lady wrote a novel called "Dinner at a Homesick Restaurant" that was required reading for all those entering high school back a few years ago--I read it in the summer and couldn't get through it because it was so depressing. "Life has to be more than this," I thought. I am glad she now agrees with me.

Oops! maybe you were right, it's only "somewhat" interesting. Anne TYLER wrote "Dinner at a Homesick Restaurant," not Anne Rice. Sorry. :(

I don't know. This could be another Da Vinci Code, drawing on the gnostic Gospel of Thomas and other heterodox matter. But, yes, after her vampire novels, this does seem to be a move in a better direction.
