The fight is between political correctness and political incorrecteness; it has nothing to do with religion. Yet, A. Pelosi might be experiencing a return to her true roots. And, it does not happen overnight. It takes time to get rid of prejudices and false ideas about Catholicism. Anyway, she is a brave woman.
I agree with the previous statement. Perhaps Alexandra's Catholic education did not, to use her word, "take", but her progression back to the faith, due largely to the birth of her son, can be seen as nothing but a movement of grace.
